movie: I saw Goodfellas recently. I've seen the first 3 seasons of the Sopranos on DVD. Goodfellas no doubt provided inspiration for the Sopranos. Another interesting point is the large number of actors who appear in both Goodfellas and the Sopranos.

Now, if I see Scarface I think I'll be all caught up on the italian mafia genre.
